Theatre Organizations

The International Thespian Society awards points for time and accomplishments, much in the same way that Scouts does. This teaches students the importance of commitment, leadership, and ownership in their own endeavors in theatre, as well as reinforcing their responsibility to the troupe.
Ursa Major Theatrics established an ITS troupe (#8503) during Bridgeland High School's first year (2017-18) and inducted many students at our first end-of-year banquet in May 2018.

Drama Club

Drama Club is a stand-alone organization that is separate from Ursa Major Theatrics' productions and Thespians. The club is here for any student with an interest in Theatre to partake in, but does not require the commitment. However, members of the Thespian Society are largely required to be in attendance.
Drama Club is essentially student-ran, with a student-elected board, and is tasked with planning the activities and calendar of the organization. Mr. Delka and Mr. Stanaland function as facilitators between their ambitions and the necessary logistics of planning.

Membership Dues

Membership dues are $25 per student. You can pay those dues through school cash.

Bridgeland Theatre Arts Booster Club

The Bridgeland Theatre Arts Booster Club (BTABC) actively supports the students and faculty members who make up Ursa Major Theatrics. These volunteers raise funds, sell tickets, run concession stands, and do much, much more throughout the year — things you see and don't see along the way. For More Information Click Here

Letter Jackets

A letter jacket is an iconic symbol of accomplishment for high school students in the United States. Beginning in the fall of 2018, CFISD established new guidelines for students working toward their letter jacket in secondary theatre arts.
