ITF - Just One Week AWAY!!!!! Woo hoo!!!

Airport Departure: Southwest Terminal at 5:30AM  Hobby Airport

• Please have an ID with you.

• Please have you vaccination card with you.

• Once everyone has arrived, we will check in as a group. I suggest car-pooling to and from the airport.

• Parents - see above for Itinerary.

Medication: - please have ALL medications, including sleeping melatonin, Tylenol, Aleve, Midol, etc. labeled in a zip-lock plastic bag.

• Please have instructions on dosages and times needed written on a piece of paper inside the bag.

• Please label the zip-lock bag with the student's first and last name.

• Do not send full bottles of medication or loose pills.  All pills should be in original bottles or prescription bottles.  Only pack enough needed for the duration of the trip.

• I will collect all medications at the airport prior to departure.

• Please be sure to let me know if you have any "self-carry" items like an inhaler or epi-pen.

Luggage: - Southwest allows 2 checked bags (up to 50 lbs each).

Please be sure to pack the following items:

• Pillow & Bedding (Twin size - I do not know if they are XL twin...sorry) I typically pack a pillow, a lightweight comforter, and a couple of flat sheets.

• Shower/Toiletries I bring a shower caddy and toiletries.

• Shower shoes/sandals​​

• Bath Towel

• Thespian Blacks Professional Solid Blacks from top to bottom.

  • Black socks/hose/tights

  • Black shoes

  • Black shirt/blouse

  • Black pants/skirt (modest length)

  • Black dress (modest length) If wearing a skirt or dress, please plan to wear tights (preferably black)

• Comfortable workshop attire

• Dance workshop attire

• Acting workshop attire

• Comfortable walking shoes

• Comfortable SCHOOL APPROPRIATE clothing. It is still a school function, and we will have an administrator with us. Do yourself a favor and avoid clothing that will get you in trouble.

• Snacks for your dorm room. 

• Music/materials for your Thespy IE competition.

• Phone/device chargers

Behavior & Attitudes:

• Best behavior and positive attitudes throughout the trip are an expectation.

• We all want to have a memorable, fun-filled, and educational experience.  This will happen if we are all staying positive, friendly, and supportive of each other throughout the journey.

• Meeting times/communication are non-negotiable on the trip.

• If we post a meeting time, you must be there ON TIME.

• Communication to students will be via Groupme, Remind 101, and/or Text while on the trip.

• Curfews are serious at ITF.

• Our dining hall is the McNutt Eatery.

Spending Money : 

• We will have full cafeteria services while on campus, but all food/travel expenses/souvenirs/etc. while not on campus will be on your own.

• I do not have a solid recommendation on how much to bring, as it varies from person to person.  My best guess is about $25 per day.
